Understanding the Removal Process

Removing the oil tank involves several steps:
1. The tank must be completely empty - all the contents of the tank are pumped into the waste containers.

2. The tank is disconnected from the boiler, the residual oil from the fuel line also goes to the disposal containers.

3. Remove the tank from your property. If the position of the tank allows us to remove whole tank, we will remove whole tank. Otherwise we cut the tank into sections.
We strictly adhere to 2 basic rules:
1. Avoid any spillage of tank contents or other contamination of your property throughout the tank removal process.

2. At the end of the job, the tank and its contents are sent to a disposal centre.
Once we start decommissioning your tank, all responsibility for it ceases.
Safety and Environmental Compliance
The oil tank removal process uses specialised equipment and expertise to ensure efficient and safe removal. An important factor is the disposal process - normal recycling centres will not accept tanks and their contents, while specialised centres will not accept tanks from private individuals.
